is equipped with industry standard NFPA certified PPE, an individually assigned state of the art radio, and a suite of IT solutions including TabletCommand mobile CAD interface.

Firefighter Requirements

Be 18 years or older by date of hire.

Posses valid California Driver’s License by date of hire.

Posses valid State of California EMT or EMT-P card
-
Pass a modified California Physical Aptitude Test.

Pass an oral board interview conducted by current staff members
After Hire -
Complete an approved Fire Academy

Complete the on-boarding process, and Emergency Vehicle Operations Class (EVOC) hosted by Felton Fire.

Remain current on training through self guided and group training activities.

Respond and work on a consistent basis.

Maintain a state of good physical and emotional fitness.

Be able to work in high stress environments.
-
Be able to work as a team in a paramilitary environment.
